Custom Blitz - Graham Smith
I have been racing since I was about 13 years old and have been into RC models in all areas; from nitro to electric, cars to place and even helicopters in the past!
In 2007 I started painting RC shells seriously and began by painting shells for my local club members. I now have the pleasure of painting for many people who race at National and European level in all classes as well as a dedicated following of 'club drivers'.
Over the past three years I have also supported international race meetings such as The Players (2 years running) and the Petit RC (2 years running) by supplying trophy pit boards for the top 10 A-finalists in each class. As a painter these events are a great opportunity for me to show my potential and also a great opportunity to provide high quality useful trophies to some of the biggest RC racers on the world wide circuit!
I am always looking for new ideas and am always experimenting with paint styles and finishes. I am quite adaptable and am always willing to discuss new techniques with clients.
2011 brings new challenges for myself and for Custom Blitz. Once again I will be maintaining my support of my team of top UK drivers whilst also supporting some international meetings too. In 2011 I will be racing at the BRCA 1/10th Offroad National Series as well as some 1/10th Touring Car meetings.
In the middle of July I will be flying out to attend the IFMAR 1/10th Offroad Worlds event, to show my support to the UK team and also to promote my business on a wider global scale.
Holbeach Model Car Club
I am proud to support my local RC club, Holbeach Model Car Club, which is a well established racing club and has this year celebrated its 25th anniversary!
